I used to think that girls thought they knew exactly how they were dressing and when guys "gawked" at them, and got angry, it was a tad confusing. Over the years though I've realized sometimes girls are just sorta clueless to how other people see them, they just see it as themselves looking pretty.

It just depends upon the girl and situation I think.

Beckeh ah that's to bad they liv that far away. My cuzns are 20 an 22. They liv lik 2 miles down the road an I see them all the tym :) James just left for Honduras yesterday an he's gonna be gone for 2 an 1/2 whole weeks! It's gonna be awful :( grin :)

They only guys who called me "hot" meant it respectfully and it was appropriate for the conversation we were having! I had a dude totally flirting with me at a stop light, he was waving out the window and bouncing around and singing loudly. And I had my 3yr old sis in the back seat, her remark was "that man is smoking, yuk" lol

I used to be pretty open and said anything and everything and outgoing, anymore I've become pretty withdrawn in public and it's quite clear to any guys don't you dare look at me or comment about me :D

Haha my best friend tells me she thinks we have this 'look' that basically communicates 'not available' to everyone around us. :P Almost the same thing as Clare, only in my words: 'nope not interested in flirting, whistling, hitting up, or any of the sort.' :P
Sometimes though I wonder if my tendency to be friendly comes across as flirting.... :/

It's true that us guys tend to look and think Damn shes hot but you have to undrstand that all guys cant help it. Were wired that way. It is the bad ones however that vo8ce these opinions not us nice guys. If a bad guy starts cussing and saying your sexy you should be offended. If a nice guy swears its usually by accident and by surprise even to ourselves. If a nice guy says yo7r hot hes probably just joking about it all. If he's serios it means he's into you and if he's a nice christian bloke take it as a compliment cause he will hardly ever say that unless its.true. if its a guy like on the bus go ahead and kick him down south. Us nice guys dont want him either. Just be careful in what you wear and how you act. Even nice guys have sinful thoughts. Just try to help us by not dressing too flirty or acting too flirty. If you did that im sure most guys would lay iff a bit. Hope this helps. :)

to add something to what drake said...

girls also see a hot tanned guy with abs or who's toned, and sometimes we also think "Dang, he's hot..."

just saying...
ripped guys shouldn't take their shirts off around us... SO distracting!!!

Drake, I agree. Rory, I think part of it also depends on how a girl dresses. For example, if a girl wears a mini skirt and spaghetti straps, then no wonder guys are going nuts over her! But the attention doesn't equal respect, and it partly is her fault that they're staring.
